Human Resources Director

Richland County Wisconsin is accepting applications for a full-time Human Resources Director.

The purpose of this position is to direct and manage the operations and employees of the Human Resources Department including developing, administering, evaluating and overseeing all employee benefits & compensation programs. With a primary focus on recruitment, employee orientation, FMLA, benefits enrollment, worker’s compensation, employee relations, separation process and payroll backup. Duties will also include planning, directing, evaluating County recruitment, develop, coordinate and conduct training. Advise the Administrator, Board, Committees, Department Heads and Supervisors regarding human resources strategies, personnel, labor and payroll issues.

Bachelor’s degree and previous experience in public administration, business management, human resources or related field.

The starting wage for this 40-hr/week position is $38.39 - $40.14 per hour with health insurance, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
