Richland County Management Information Systems
Management Information Systems (MIS) provides management and support for all computer technology used in the operation of County Government.
The MIS Department manages all facets of the automated information systems of Richland County. The department assesses all current and future technological needs of the County and designs, develops, implements and maintains strategic plans to satisfy those needs. The plans normally involve purchasing and maintaining computer hardware and software, as well as providing ongoing technical support services.
MIS operates a computer network to provide desktop computing resources to approximately 350 end users at 8 locations in Richland County. MIS is on call 24/7 to providing services for several departments.
