NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Finance and Personnel Committee (Tax Deed) of the Richland County Board of Supervisors will sell county-owned tax deed land hereinafter described by bids, written or oral, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Information on attending virtually will be posted on the Finance and Personnel Committee agendas and minutes page found here:

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the tax deed land owned by Richland County upon which bids will be received and the appraised value of said land is set forth as follows:

Town of Henrietta – Tax Parcel # 014-3440-1009

The legal description is as follows:

The following-described real estate is situated in Richland County, State of Wisconsin: The North Half (N1/2) of Lots Nine (9) and Ten (10) in Block Ten (10), in the Village of Hub City, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the South Four (4) feet of the said North Half (N1/2) of Lots Nine (9) and Ten (10) in Block Ten (10). All of said lands being located in Section Thirty-four (34), Town Twelve (12) North, Range One (1) East, Richland County, Wisconsin. Subject to easement of Richland Cooperative Electric Association which is recorded at Volume 1, Easements p.587, Richland County Register of Deeds.

Appraised value $500.00

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said premises will not be sold for less than the appraised value of the parcel as set forth above, and that the Finance and Personnel Committee (Tax Deed) reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept such bids as may be most advantageous to the County of Richland. A non-refundable $30.00 fee will be added to the bid of the successful bidder for the County’s cost of recording its deed to the successful bidder. The buyer shall be responsible for paying the property taxes on the property, if any, for the year of the sale to the buyer. The former owner of the property has limited rights under Wisconsin Statutes, sections 75.26 through 75.31. Buyers who are intending to build on the property or obtain a mortgage on it may request the County to bring suit under Wisconsin Statutes, sections 75.39 through 75.41, to eliminate these rights.
