Speech/Language Pathologists provide both evaluation and treatment to patients who have impairments in communication, cognition, and/or swallowing abilities. In addition to addressing independent communication and swallowing skills, they develop alternative/augmentative communication systems as needed. Speech Therapy addresses the following conditions as well as others:
