Legal Assistant The Richland County District Attorney is seeking applicants for the position of Legal Assistant. The preferred qualifications are an associate degree with three to five years secretarial experience, or any combination of education and/or experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Responsibilities include creation and maintenance of all case files, court calendaring, and reception duties. Knowledge, understanding, and the ability to prepare legal documents is helpful. A full description of the position and responsibilities may be obtained from the District Attorney’s Office at 181 West Seminary Street, Richland Center, Wisconsin. The position is 40 hours per week at a beginning rate of $21.35 per hour with an increase following a 6-month probationary period. The County’s benefit package includes health, retirement and other fringe benefits.
