APS Social Worker |
Richland County Health and Human Services is under new leadership and has full-time 40 hr/wk openings for the following positions in our Behavioral
Health Services Unit.
This position will conduct Elder Abuse and Adult-at-Risk investigations and related reporting in order to maintain guardianship/protective placement programming. The APS Worker shall receive and respond to reports of abuse, neglect, self-neglect and financial exploitation. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field is required along with State Social Work certification or eligibility. The 2022 wage range for a certified Social Worker is $22.14-$23.14 per hour (wage range for a non-certified applicant is $20.33-$21.25 per hour). The anticipated 2023 wage range for a certified Social Worker is $25.14-$26.28 per hour (wage range for a non-certified applicant is $21.35-$22.31 per hour). These positions include State of Wisconsin Public Employees group health insurance, WRS retirement, and other fringe benefits package. Offering flexible work schedule and ability to occasionally work remotely. The normal work day for these positions is Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm; no evenings, weekends, or holidays. A valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation is also required.
