County Surveyor

The position of Richland County Surveyor is being opened to applicants. Richland County will be contracting with a licensed surveyor with the period of the contract beginning January 2015. The contract will cover a two-year period. The duties include two hours a month of in-office filing of surveys, overseeing the maintenance of section corners and the coordinates on them, attending meetings, and any other duties required by state statutes (Section 59.45) or deemed necessary. The completion of a section corner database, now in process, will be the responsibility of the Surveyor. For further information, contact Paul Klawiter at (608)647-3334.
