The Richland County Clerk of Circuit Court Office is seeking bright, professional, hard-working individuals for a 35 hour/week position as Clerical Assistant II.
The Clerical Assistant II is the front-line person in the Clerk of Circuit Court Office, processing a variety of critical data from customers, attorneys, and officials within the court. The individual in this position must be able to multi-task and function effectively in high-pressure environments, in both the office and courtroom. Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent with three years office experience. Computer skills, including word processing skills in a Windows environment are also required. Top candidates must submit to typing, computer and other office skills tests. Current starting salary is $14.97 per hour with an increase to $ 15.39 after a probationary period of no less than six months. The County’s benefit package also includes excellent health, retirement and other fringe benefits.
