Public Health Manager/County Health Officer
         Richland County Health and Human Services has a full-time 40 hr/wk opening for a Public Health Manager in our Level II local health office. This position also serves as the Richland County Health Officer as required in Wisconsin Statutes 251.06. Duties include supervising all aspects of the Public Health Unit, including the Senior Nutrition Program, in accordance with federal and state laws, developing and maintaining the unit budget, creating and implementing policies and procedures, providing direct supervision of unit staff, and grant writing.

          Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Environmental Health, the physical or biological sciences or similar field is required. Three years of supervisory experience with a public health agency, including responsibility for a communicable disease prevention and control program, is also required, as well as a valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation. Current starting wage of $32.02 per hour which increases to $33.59 per hour after probation. County health, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
